Not sure where the idea that you get kicked out of hospital in 24hrs in the UK has come from 😂 I gave birth on Tuesday and I’m still in hospital for feeding support. I have only ever been discouraged from leaving and at the early stage I was told they wouldn’t discharge me until they were happier with his feeding. They won’t discharge you if there is anything clinically wrong with you or the baby. I know people who have left hospital within 24 hours but they had a straight forward birth and wanted to be in their own home. Don’t let people worry you with negative stories. My experience with nhs maternity care has been really supportive and caring. I’m sure you’ll have a great experience as well ❤ They also don’t give you cold sandwiches 😂
